Abstract
As OFDM modulation has high Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR), it results high-power amplifier function in nonlinear area and distortion. Therefore, PAPR reduction in communication systems which use OFDM modulation is vital. On the other hand, the methods of PAPR reduction that have been used so far are along with distortion and little complexity or without distortion and much complexity. Therefore, it is necessary and important to achieve a method without distortion and low complexity. In addition, it guarantees a reliable communication against channel noise of telecommunication systems using appropriate channel coding and OFDM modulation. In this scheme, a new PAPR reduction scheme based on polar codes is introduced. This kind of coding needs little memory; this feature and reduced amplifier utility makes the code economically viable especially for UAV systems (unmanned aerial vehicle) that have limited energy source. Moreover, the reception problem is solved using the Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) antennas technology. Finally, the simulation results for the proposed technique are presented in the paper.
